Mornings are sometimes being harsh. Agree? If yes, that means you woke up from the alarm clock and started complaining about the early hour or the fact that you have to hurry to school or your job. Doesn’t matter which case this is, people just don’t like alarm clocks, even if they sing your favorite song. If you are reading this and feel pretty much the same, this is really sad. The life is really a magical thing and waking up every morning itself should be a fest for us. However, what we do is just starting it with the complaining.

If you are now thinking, what does yoga have to do with everything just mentioned? I am hurrying up to answer you: a straight one. If you are tired of starting your days with the first idea of going back to the bed again and complaining, yoga is really just what you need.

Okay, you are now going to wake up earlier for the yoga practice, however, imagine how great it is: waking up and not going to the office as a first thing of the day.

So, if you feel like this idea sounds good, then you will also like the 5 poses which are really great for starting the morning with.

  1. Start your morning with Sun Salutations

If you wonder, how you should start your day: it is really simple. All you need to do is welcoming the sun, taking it deep into you, feeling the warmth of the day and of the moment (even if you weren’t loving the mornings at all). As there are various types of doing this pose, you can find and practice the one which you like more. Just a piece of advice: choose the one which really helps you to wake up, get filled with the energy of sun and won’t be just another pose you HAVE to do.

  1. Continue with the Child’s Pose

As yesterday was a long day, today is the best opportunity to start it all over again. If you were stressed, angry, sad or you had any other negative feeling, these moments of morning yoga are excellent for letting it go and relaxing. The Child’s Pose is really amazing for this. While you feel like you are just relaxing and resting, this pose takes out the negative energy from you and brings the positive to your day.

  1. Keep going with the Chair Pose

If you feel like you had enough resting and relaxing, Chair pose is a great one to continue with. This is excellent if you want to challenge yourself and heat your body up. It energizes you and brings you to the real life and the real yoga practices (another way of forgetting about the negativity).

  1. Go on with the Downward Facing Dog Pose

Now, it is the for your whole body to wake up. Downward Facing Dog yoga pose is excellent for engaging all of the body muscles into the practice and wake up easier. Just start working on the hips and legs and make your whole body feel the power of this yoga pose.

  1. Finish it up with the Triangle Pose

Triangle pose or Trikonasana is a classic yoga pose, which is especially good for your balance. By working more on the legs and core, this pose brings you balance and stability. So just go on and do this pose as well to make your yoga practice perfect.

Those were just 5 top yoga poses which are really good for starting the morning with. However, starting as a beginner and practicing as much to become a professional you can include more and more poses into your practice and make them even more difficult. We really hope that from now on, your mornings won’t start with complaining and will become your favorite part of the day.
