With every day of a yoga practice and workout, you are becoming more and more professional, going deep into yoga poses and their meanings. Everything requires time, and yoga is not an exception. People do not learn anything in one day, doesn’t matter it is learning a new language or practicing a yoga pose. We all need practicing and hard work to see a result and reach our goals. Yoga is one of those things that require hard work and practicing for the most difficult poses to be implemented. It is important, that on the way to this, you won’t get disappointed or sad about the possible “failures” that you will have. That is why special for you we have created a list of things that you should take easy and not get concentrated on while practicing yoga.

  1. Failing in doing some poses. Yoga doesn’t require you to totally be adjustable to a pose. It is never there to force you to do a pose, or make you stressed because of it. If you are unable to do this or that pose, that never means that you are inflexible. Never limit yourself in your practice with the thoughts that you are weak or inflexible. On the opposite, remember, that everyone needs practice and all you have to do is just continue with trying and working more. Every yoga pose, especially the most difficult ones, have their variations, so just read more about them and start with the variations. Later, you will be able to go deeper and try the difficult ones.
  2. Don’t worry about the time. If you feel like you don’t have enough time for yoga or it requires more then you can give, you are being mistaken. Yoga is something that really doesn’t require much, including time. Even if you are finding 15 minutes for each yoga practice a day, that will be enough for getting energy for the day, or get rid of a stress. So don’t worry about the time and just enjoy even the 10 minutes that you have free.
  3. No one judges you. Either if you are going to a yoga studio, or practicing at home through a video tutorial, remember, no one watches and no one judges you. When at studio, you may look at many others doing this or that pose better then you do, or just thinking that they are looking at you are are judging for doing an exact pose wrong. You are again bein mistaken. Remember, yoga is not there for comparison or for competition. You should never do more and go out from your limits to show someone that you can do this or that pose. Yoga is there fo you and ONLY for you. It is there for you to get relaxed, motivated, energized and reach the Zen. It is never there to get even more stressed because of a pose. And this knows everyone who is practicing yoga. So, if you are new to this, just learn it, no one watches you, no one judges you. You are practicing for yourself.

Those were some of the things that may become a reason for you to worry before starting the yoga practices. Some other of these “problems” can be, for example: what should I wear at the practice? Should I have something flowy or something stretchy? Where should I buy a mat? Which studio should I choose?

Those are questions that we all ask ourselves when starting yoga practicing, however we all will agree that after some classes we do admit, that those things are not really the things we should worry about. The only thing we should take with us to the yoga studio is: us. Yes, we should take ourselves, the soul and body, to reach the result we wanted, to learn, to see and to feel everything that we can through yoga. Other things are not important. So, just enjoy it. Namaste!
