Whether or not you have chosen to practice your yoga at home or at a studio, there are several things you should know about yoga eating habits. Though we know that practicing yoga may be more comfortable at home, because you won’t spend time on the road, get to the yoga studio and feel like you are hungry. Also, the fact that it is advisable to eat something at least 30 to one hour before yoga, makes you feel nervous and not eat anything when you get to the studio and discover that you are hungry. However, besides these things connected more with the comfort of the yogi, there are still some things which are better options. And this is because yoga has amazing poses, which are body relaxing and if you don’t want to get in an awkward situation, when your body does some voices, those options would be great.

Fruits in general are great, but bananas especially are amazing for starting the day. Due to the fiber, that bananas are containing, they will help you feel full and energized. You will be able to practice the whole yoga class and not even think about the fact that all you have eaten is banana.

Oatmeal can be a great start of the morning. As it is also reach with fiber, oatmeal will stabilize the blood sugar during the yoga practice, also will keep your stomach full.

If you feel like you are fluctuating between several options of food before yoga practice, we are presenting you another alternative, you can always come to. And, those are raisins. Raisins are reach with sugar (which is most important: natural sugar) that will energize you and, believe us, that will be enough for your whole yoga class.

The vitamins, protein and fiber that almonds contain will full your stomach, energize you and let you freely practice the yoga. Besides, almonds are very easy to be digested, so as you see a handful of almonds can be a nice decision for today.

If you feel like having a fruit in the morning, that’s a great idea. However, it also has importance what you choose before the yoga practice. Pears are probably one of the smartest decisions. As fiber is really important for every yoga practice and for you to be able to go till the end, that is why you should be choosing the foods that are reach with fiber. That is why from all of the other fruits, pears become a great option, because of the fiber that they contain. So, are you giving your choice to this last but not the least option we have suggested to you?
