Advertising is such a powerful tool/ way for all of the companies to reach to more people, gain more benefits, build a brand, become more famous and popular, be loved and have better sales. So many things with just one advertising? Admit it, that sounds really fantastic. All you have to do is creating a powerful and exciting ad, and voila!

Video marketing campaigns are of a wide popularity now. Famous video sharing websites, like YouTube are amazing for sharing the video and going viral with it. In fact, people like food advertisements and those ads are more likely to get more shares then so many other things. To be exact, food is one of the not harmful topics that people don’t think a lot before sharing. It’s just food – people don’t care about the competition between the fast food companies: they care more about the food and how it looks like in the ad. So if you have decided to make a video ad, then make sure you are making it as beautiful as you can. Include better images of food, make it more fun and enjoyable: food videos shouldn’t be too serious. People should just enjoy seeing them. And in fact, fast food companies do really great with video ads.

 

Create mobile apps

Have you noticed that mobiles play a huge role in our lives? Well, obviously you did. What we mean is that, compared to the computers and Notebooks, people are now more into mobiles, rather than desktop. That is why most of the companies are also targeting the mobiles a lot. One of those advertising method is creating mobile apps, such as the store locator application, or an application which checks the gift card balance that you had from that restaurant etc.

 

Kids are always a good target

One thing to know for sure is that kids are always the best target, especially when it comes to eating and fast food. There are so many companies, such as the Burger Kind or the McDonald’s, that have created “advergames”. Those are special online games for children to play – and guess what? During those games children are getting the advertisements from those companies. Voila! Kids are just looking at those ads and all they want – concisely or subconcisely is going to a fast food place and have some stuff there. That is why kids tend to be a better target for this.

They are advertising in large posters

Their posters and banners are tending to be larger than of other companies. And most of the times, those banners are including a picture of the tastiest burger or frees that will definitely attract everyone. The more you see and the tastier look it has, the more people will go to the consumption of it even without being hungry.

Fast food companies change the portions

We all ay get sometimes surprised with the portions that we order and with the ones that we get. No, gays, don’t be shocked, it’s not from you. In fact, all of the fast food companies tend to change the portions of the food – you will never find in front of you the thing that was just drawn in the menu or on the banner. And you will always have a smaller portion.

Also, fast food companies tend to change the words and their meanings, like with the word “large”. Meaning to say, the large coke that you will order, may sometimes not be the “large” that you were expecting. In other words, the sizes of the food you are going to eat will always be surprising and not the same that was expected. Just a marketing trick – sorry! If you want to get more, you have got to pay more for that.

Food sales in the schools

Lastly, but maybe most importantly, fast food companies have increased the amount of fast food advertising at schools. As we have mentioned above, kids are the one of the most important targets for the fast food companies, so they making ads there and increasing the amounts of fast food sells in the schools is, in fact, very profitable.

In fact, this can be a topic of discussion for all of the parents, as it becomes even more difficult to keep the children back from fast food, however schools still are on that way, and this seems to be not ending in near future: kids do like fast food – who thinks about how harmful they are?

So, as you see there are so many advertising tricks and tactics that fast food companies use to gain more customers and get more profits from them. This is a marketing world and everything you have to know is just opening your eyes wide and making sure you know those things and won’t be fooled.
