The idea of unisex things first appeared in regard of clothes. Many people think that unisex clothes appeared in 21st century. However this is a big mistake, as in reality they appeared many and many years ago. The idea and practice of unisex clothing dates back to the end of 19 century. It was typical to Western countries and nowadays is a characteristic of Western fashion culture. As mention before, the first unisex things were clothes, but nowadays we have even unisex accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, rings and even earrings. When it comes to earrings and other unisex accessories then we have to note that they appeared much later than unisex clothes. They started to appear in 21st century and nowadays they are quite trendy. However, there were times when wearing unisex earrings for men were quite weird and extraordinary.
If men would like to wear earrings in 20 century it would not have been accepted by society. However, as things have changed to modern era and the vision of life has changed in many societies, many and many people accept men wearing earrings and rings. As we know any kind of accessory was regarded as something feminine and designed for women only.
However in 21st century designers announced and released earrings and rings for both men and women. Unisex earrings can be more often seen on streets and on ears of males.
The phenomena of men wearing female accessories or unisex earrings or rings, as we can call them now, is nowadays more common in Western culture. In South, in many Arabian countries it is still completely unacceptable for men to wear earrings and rings.
If you have not met a guy with earrings or you have not seen international superstars wearing unisex earrings we will give you the general idea how it looks.
If you have not seen them, you may think that men wear any kind of earring, like long ones, and the big ones with beautiful and gorgeous stones. However, the reality is much far from them.
The unisex earrings are really small, and they remind us of dots or of rings on ears. So they are designed in a way, in order not to make boys wearing earrings look too feminine. Moreover, usually they are released in natural and neutral colors, like black, white, blue. The black ones are the most commonly seen and popular ones among boys. When it comes to women, they are completely comfortable with the idea of wearing earrings of any shape, any size, any look and of any color, because originally it is their orbit.
As we promote freedom, we think that it is completely okay and absolutely fine for male to wear earrings if they feel comfortable while wearing them and if they feel that they suit them.
However, our advice is that if you are handsome and you have a big body with muscles you can surely wear earrings. On contrast with this, if you are a guy of small shapes, then you had better not to wear unisex earrings as they can make you look feminine.
Still our advice is that unisex earrings are designed, which means you can wear earrings and your gender does not matter at all. You are into earrings? Wear them!
