It is called lentil cutlets. The lentil cutlets are really tasty, have classy taste and they are super healthy. The lentil contains lots of vitamins and healthy things that our organism really needs to have.  Another amazing fact about this dish is that actually this one also is really cheap. You do not need to have a big budget in order to be able to make this.  We have introduced you to many types of cutlets, such as potato, cabbage and zucchini ones. Trust me, that the cutlets made of lentils are especially tasty. The origins of these healthy and delicious cutlets go back to Russia. So let’s see what kind of ingredients we need to have for these amazing cutlets.

The ingredients.

1 kg of lentils

3 onions

Parsley

Pepper

Salt

3 carrots

2 eggs

Flour

Olive oil for frying

As we promised, this is a dish of small budget, and the list of ingredients tells us about it.

The making.

At first we need to properly wash the lentils and add them into large bowl. Then you should cook the lentils, which will take approximately one hour. After that we will need to grade them. Once you did so, you have to wash the onions and then cut them into cubes. Then cook the carrots properly and once they are not raw anymore, you should take them off from the heat. Then grade the carrots, add them the carrots and the onions into the mass of lentils. After this wash the parsley carefully, and then add then chop it. Add the chopped parsley to the whole mass you have and then mix all the ingredients together. Once you did so, add salt, pepper, break the eggs, add one cup of flour and mix everything together one more time.

After this you just have to preheat the pan, add the olive oil, shape cutlets out of the mass you have, and then start frying them on both sides. Once they are fried, they will get a dark color, because of those lentils.

You can eat the cutlet with sour cream or with tomato pasta.

The dish is super tasty and delicious. It is simple and very healthy. It is also not so rich in calories, but at the same time the nutrition level is quite high. The timing is about 1 hour and a half. In general it is a very easy cutlet to make.

This can be a perfect match for you if you are on diet because it will give you the whole energy, by at the same time keeping you away from too many calories. So as a result you will feel really full, will not be starving, but anyway will have the chance of losing weight.
