Have you ever heard of something from Polish cuisine? Probably not much. In vain. Polish cuisine is really a tasty one. It is full of different pies and soups. The Polish culture is very close to Russian and especially the Ukrainian one and actually the dishes are also kind of similar. However, the dish we will introduce today is something very unique, you never heard of.

The soup is called zur aka zurek, and is just a very tasty one, that makes you full immediately. SO let’s see what kind of soup it is. 

So here are the ingredients that we need to make this amazing dish.

For sourdough

Rye flour, half cup

Whole meal bread

Garlic of 2 cloves

2 bay leaves

Water of 1 cup

For the soup we need:

Sausages, 2 white

Already made sourdough

Small parsley

1 onion of medium size

3 potatoes

Thick sour cream, of 3 tablespoon

Marjoram, 1 spun

Hard boiled eggs,

Pepper and salt.

So firstly we need to pour rye floor in the cup pot and add the pressed garlic into it. Then pour it over warm water. Mix everything well and then leave it from 3-4 days in sunny and warm place.

Then it will have a sour smell, it means that the bread is ready, and you can serve it for one month. It will not go out of data.

Then pour the sourdough in big bowl and add water there. It is the right time to cook.

After it is cooked, add the spices, the leaves and the sausages, which should be cut.

Meanwhile take the potatoes and boil them in separate bowl. After they are cooked and not raw, add them into the sourdough. 

Boil the soup for a little more time, so as you feel that all the ingredients are together, and then make sure it is seasoned well.  Afterwards, add the sour creams and eggs.

Here it is your delicious soup.

As you have noticed this soup is quite a rich one. It combines lots of ingredients in it, which makes the nutrition very high. The sourdough, the sausages, potatoes and other ingredients make the soup rich in calories, and will definitely provide you with much energy. 

If we look at it, it is not so difficult to make the soup. However, the fact of sourdough makes it a little bit difficult to make. Another fact is that you have to make the sourdough 3 days before the actual day of making the soup, which makes things even more complicated. So if we do not count the day of cooking sourdough, it will take you round an hour and a half to make this soup.

As we see, it is not so easy to make this amazing soup, but all the effort definitely worth it. This soup is something new, you never tried before, and the fact that the soup is right in the sourdough makes things even better.
