Developed by a rugby league player and personal trainer, Ben Lucas along with yoga teacher Kate Kendall; “Troga” is the next big thing in the workout circle. Created in the land down under, this form of workout combines yoga with TRX, a form of resistance training that uses webbing and ropes.
The Influence
While training for a 100 km ultra-marathon, Ben Lucas wasn’t recovering well. Yoga was soon made an integral part of my training process and they noticed how it helped him become more mobile and kept him injury-free, thus came to life Troga. Using a system of webbing and ropes known as a “suspension trainer” that is attached to the ceiling, Troga makes use of your own body weight as a form of resistance.
