Today we will be making a dessert. However, this is not just an ordinary dessert, but a cultural heritage of Scandinavia, especially of Norway.  The dessert, which recipe we will introduce you today, is a special one. This dessert is served during special occasions in Norway, such as wedding, baptism, New Year’s Eve and other holidays. The dessert reminds of sweet circle towel and is really beautiful dish to serve, especially on wedding parties. This is not just a dish, but also a huge part of Scandinavian culture. The dish is popular not only in Norway, but in Denmark as well. So let’s see how many ingredients we need to make this Norwegian special cake.

The ingredients.

500 grams of powdered sugar

1 egg white

100 grams of powdered sugar again

Small amount of egg white

Semolina

The whites of 3 medium sized eggs

As I have promised you, we do not need to have so many ingredients. Now once you have them, let’s start making.

At first take a food processor and add the almonds there. The almonds need to form a certain mass. For this cake we do not need to have firm pieces of almonds.

Then take another bowl, add the powdered sugar, the whites of 3 eggs and then the almond. Then knead the dough and put it under the low heat to warm up a little bit. The dough needs to be warm so as to be flexible, but make sure that you do not burn it. Then turn off the fire and set the dough aside for about one night.

Next day you have to blend the stiff and the egg white into thou dough, which you will need to chop. Then sprinkle samolina on them. 

After this by the help of special forms make rings of different size, from small into bigger ones. Then bake the rings by putting them into the centers of the oven. You have to bake them under 180 degrees and for about 15 minutes. 

Then use the little part of white egg and powdered sugar to make the topping. The topping must be icy and not running. Put the topping on each ring separately and then build the towel with rings.

When it comes to difficulty, then we have to accept that it is a little bit complicated in fact. The nutrition level is not high, because it is a dessert and not a healthy dish. When ti comes to timing then you will need more than 3 or 4 hours, let alone that the cake dough should be kept aside one night before.

However, when you have time, you should really make this dish, as this just amazing one.
