The dish we are going to introduce you today is again of Danish origins. You can obviously see the roots of Danish cuisine in the dish as again the dish is simple but tasty. I would say this dish would be a great choice for breakfast and also for students or school children. Moms can easily put some part of this for their kinds to eat in school, students can also eat it at university, because it is easy to carry and you do not need much space for that. You can just take it out of your bag and have anytime, so easy and comfortable.

So here are the ingredients we need to have to make this Danish dish, can also be regarded as something similar to Georgian khachapuri. So we can call this Danish khachapuri. 

The ingredients.

1 cup of Sargento Part-Skim Ricotta cheese

1/3 cup of sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour

2 tablespoon of melted butter

2 tablespoon of grated orange rind

2 sheets of frozen puff pastry dough

1 tablespoon of orange juice

½ tablespoon of vanilla

½ cups of confectioners’ sugar

2 tablespoon of chopped walnuts or sliced almonds

It is the time to make the Danish bombshell. 

The making

Take a large bowl; combine there the cheese, egg, sugar, butter, the orange rind, flour and vanilla in a large bowl. Then beat the ingredients with electronic mixer on medium speed until they are well blended. 

Next you have to unfold the pastry into rectangle and place it on baking sheet. Then you have to take a sharp knife and make cuts by intervals on edges but on the middle part. Then you should take the cheese mixture and put on the middle of the pastry. Just crisscross strips over the filling, bringing the edges together. 

Then bake in it preheated oven less than 400 degrees for about 25 minutes until it gets a nice golden color. Once it is ready and cooked, you should take it out of oven and cut into some parts. 

As you easy it is a good dish to make, and it will be very easy for students or schoolchildren to carry with them. The dish reminds of khachapori as well, so those who like it, for sure will like this dish also. Actually the thing that we like about it is that you can make a feeling of your own. You can add new ingredients to cheese, and put your personality also there.  You can try to add ham or mushrooms, sausages or whatever you like.

When it comes to making process we have to say that it is quite easy. The timing is less than one hour. It will take about 45 minute to make this Danish bombshell. The nutrition level if medium. I think this dish would also make a good breakfast choice.
