We never tried Moroccan cuisine and this is the first time we will be introducing you a Moroccan dish which is very exciting. The Moroccan cuisine is a lot influenced by Arabic, Mediterranean and Algerian cuisines. The Moroccan cuisine is full of spices such as cumin, cinnamon, ginger and pepper which make the dishes taste incredible. You can find lots of meat and vegetables in this cuisine. The good thing about Moroccan cuisine is that it is all about good food and eating healthy and properly. Usually the portions are quite big and you will get full immediately.
So today we will be making a very special and unique dish, which is considered to be simple for Moroccan cuisine. We will be introducing you the baked hummus spinach dip, which we are sure you all will like. So let’s start.

The ingredients.
For hummus
3 cups of cooked or canned chickpeas, which should be drained and the liquid should be kept
1 or 2 garlic cloves
¼ cup of olive oil
¼ cup of tahini
Salt and black pepper
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
Fresh parsley
So firstly put the chickpeas with the half of their cooking liquid in a blender, add the garlic,, tahini and the oil, then add salt and pepper. Stir until the mixture is sure and then add more cooking liquid, oil and tahini. Then cook the mass you have on slow heat by stirring and lemon juice and parsley.
Then we will need
The ½ hummus that you made
2 cups of spinach
1 cup of shredded cheese
So preheat the oven under 350 degrees, place the spinach in the food processor and pulse it for a few times until it is shredded. Take a bowl, combine the spinach, hummus and part of the cheese and sprinkle with the rest of cheese. Bake it for 20-25 minutes. The hummus must be hot, the cheese must be melted. You should serve it with pita or crackers.
As you can see this is a really simple dish, and not so hard to make as it can seem from the first sight. The hummus is super healthy and tasty as well. This is a typical Moroccan dish influenced by the Arabic cuisine. The making process will take you about 1 hour and a half. While the nutrition level is medium.
This dish is a perfect way to start your day with. Hummus with cracker can also be a good snack while you are at workplace and you need something to just bite.
