When it comes to British cuisine we have to note that it is full of delicate and amazingly beautiful dishes. They are also simple yet very complicated at the same time.  Who does not like British cakes and pies? They are so delicious and light.  They all kind of make perfect breakfast with coffee and are perfect for those who should harry up to work and have a long and tiring day. British apple cakes and apple pies are especially popular. 

I am sure everyone has tried apple cakes, but not the apple pies. So today we will be making a very interesting, yummy and unique dessert, called apple pie, which has British origins. 

So what is apple pie? It is an apple stuffed with filling.

What do we need for apple pie? Here is the list of ingredients.

The ingredients:

For the Pie crust:

Oat flour, 55 gram 

Brown rice flour 30 gram

Ground flaxseed 7 gram

¼ teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoon of Butter flavor organic shortening

1.5 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce

4 teaspoon of milk, unsweetened Almond

16 drops of stevia extract

For the filling:

4 granny Smith large apples

4 tablespoon of Lemon juice

36 drops of Stevia extract

½ teaspoon of apple pie spice

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

The making:

For the crust take a small bowl salt, oat flour and brown rice flour. Then take another bowl and add there the stevia, almond milk, applesauce and the shortening. Microwave the mass you have with 20 second intervals stirring them well so as the ingredients are melted. Soak the dry ingredients into the wet one and fold together. 

Then you should preheat the oven under 375 degrees and place the dough there into the muffin cups, bake for 7 minutes until the top of the dough looks dry and crispy. 

For the apples 

We need to slice the top of the apples, scoop the apples and brash with lemon juice then. Add 2 tablespoon of lemon juice to the apple mixture with stevia, apple pie spice and cinnamon. Then fill the apple crusts with the apple filling and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until the crust is dry. 

Once they are ready, carefully take the crust out of cups and place them into the apple. You can serve them both cold and warm. If you like warm then put on microwave for 20 seconds so as the apple will also become hot.

You can also add the topping you like. The vanilla ice-cream could make a perfect topping for this dessert. 

As you can see this is a super delicate dessert that can be nice dinner or breakfast option. Especially with vanilla ice-cream topping it will be even more delicious. 

It is of medium difficulty to make the dessert. The timing is about an hour and a half. When it comes to nutrition we have to say that the level is not so high. However, the dessert is light, simple and pleasant. The apple pies are beautiful and look very good, so you can also make them for your guests.
