Today we are making an apple walnut cinnamon roll cupcakes which sounds really enchanting. The name promises us that this dish is going to be something super tasty. This dish is an unbelievably tasty dessert, which can be eaten with ice-cream and coffee during breakfast or coffee break at your workplace. This is a classic kind of dessert that anyone would like for sure. Who does not like cupcakes? I think most people adore cupcakes with different toppings, creams and fillings. People especially like cupcakes with walnuts. The presence of nuts brings something healthy in not so much healthy sweet dessert. So it is really interesting to understand what this dish is. Let’s start with ingredients as usual.

For the roll:
2 cups of 2 percent milk
1 tablespoon of active dry yeast
1/3 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
6 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
¼ cups of unsalted butter of room temperature
2 eggs
For the filling:
½ cups of butter, melted and unsalted
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup perfectly chopped walnuts
3 tablespoon of cinnamon
2 cups of chopped tart apples
Apple Glaze ingredients
1 cup of powdered sugar
2 tablespoon and 1 tablespoon of apple cider
The making
First heat the milk in microwave for about one minute, then add yeast, sugar and stir to dissolve. Then add 2 cups of flour, salt and beat the mass. Add the softened butter, eggs until the mass is well mixed. Add the rest of the flour. Remove the dough from the dough and place it on floured surface. Then knead the dough for minutes until it is elastic. Then put the dough in a large bowl, cover it with kitchen towel and let it rise for 40 minutes until it gets the double size.
Then turn the dough into the counter and roll it out, then use a pastry brush to spread the butter on it.
Then make the filling. Add sugars, cinnamon, apples and pecans in a large bowl. Spread the mixture on the dough. Then roll into a long log. Then cut the log into 24 pieces and place each one of them into a cup. Cover them with towel so as they will raise them in warm place for 40 minutes.
Then preheat the oven for 350 degrees. Then brush the remained butter on the top of cupcakes and bake for 20 minutes.
The color should be golden. So when they turn golden they are ready.
Actually the making is quite difficult as you see, and the timing is about 2 hours. When it comes to nutrition then it is law in level. However, we believe that this is a brilliant dessert option, and hardly can you find a person who does not like this dessert.
