I am more than sure, you have not heard much about Egyptian food. The Egyptian cuisine is not often seen alongside with the high cuisines like French or Italian, but Egyptian cuisine is also full of tasty dishes, which may not look as delicate as the ones from Italian of French cuisines, but definitely will make you love Egyptian cuisine. Most of the Egyptian dishes are very practical. They may be easy or difficult to make, but they are all about taste, the feeling of hunger, and they try their best to make you full.

So most of the Egyptian dishes are rich in meat, vegetable, lots of rice and corn. So today we are making a relatively easy Egyptian dish which will make you lose the feeling of hunger and which make you full at once after you have it. The name of the dish is fava brown beans.

What do we need to make this dish?

The ingredients. 

1 can of fava beans, approximately 400 grams

1 tomato

1 onion

2 garlic cloves

Cucumber

Green pepper

Parsley

2 tablespoon of oil

½ lemon juice

Salt and cumin

White bread

The making

To make this incredible Egyptian dish we have to first wash the beans, add them into a bowl and cook properly by adding the oil and lemon juice into the water you are cooking it in. While they are being cooked you can do the other staff. So take tomato, wash it and cut into cubes. The take the onion and finely slice it. Then you should take the garlic cloves and chop them finely. After you have done all these things it is the time for cucumber. Cut the cucumber like tomato. Just cut them into cubes. Then take the green pepper, make it free of seeds and cut into round shapes. The next thing you should do is to chop the parsley. 

After the beans are heated you should add the onions, garlic, cucumber and pepper into the beans bowl and stir it well for about 3 minutes.  

After this taste one seed of bean, if it is cooked, then add tomato, cumin and parsley. 

The best thing about this dish is that actually it is a soup, but you can avoid eating the juice. All you can do is to take out then ingredients out of water and add them on white bread. 

In this case it is a different kind of dish, a very unique one. However, if you like healthy food, then eat the dish as soup. 

As you can guess, the making process is not difficult at all. The timing is also not so much. It will take about 1 hour to make this dish. The nutrition however, is really high, because this is a dish full of vegetables that provide with lots of energy.
