Today we are going to discuss a very interesting topic which is interesting because it is related to women. As we know women have historically been largely underrated and they did not have the right to work or to have any other activities until they finally got this right thanks to French activists first. Slowly things have been changing greatly and in twenty first century we have what we have, which is a world where women took over. Of course there are also a number of man accepting that in fact women run the world nowadays and it is really hard to disagree with. Women are independent, goal oriented, have strong will and are very well organized. They have great organizational skills. As you can see, of course it is true that women take a great place nowadays in every sphere. If before women could not work some specific job, today you can see women working in spheres where men usually are more typical.
Now the question is whether people do not feel gender bias and segregation in workplace or they do? Well, you can think that the answer for sure is that they do not feel however it is not so clear but quite controversial. The thing with this is that it depends on the country. Of course it depends on the country because nowadays there are a lot of countries where you can witness gender inequality and things alike. In some of these countries women still are not allowed to work in some others women can technically work but they get so much attention in a bad way that they prefer not working.
If we are talking about Europe, about Western countries or the countries where basic human rights are more or less protected then women do not feel gender bias at all. Moreover sometimes women feel better than men and feel much more privileged and in this case men start having problems with being a man and feeling a kind of gender bias towards men. This happens mostly in countries where women got to be really active and took over every sphere and men are just feeling wonderful and proud about the women that they have.
Another problem is that actually in some other countries where law allowing women to work are still new, they still face some kind of problems in their workplaces. In most of the Arab countries women are taken as creatures who cannot work, who cannot think properly, who are just for satisfying men and bringing children for them. Of course in countries which have this kind of iron cast mentality it is very hard and very complicated to change something. Even if there is a change in these countries when it comes to this thing, still it is really difficult for men to try to adopt seeing a woman next to them doing the very same thing as they do. On contrast with this, in these countries women also feel themselves very little because there are not many of them wanting to change some things in their countries and of course it is obvious that alone their cannot make a change. However, when we talk about the countries where women work and have been working for a long time historically we can for sure see that they can feel absolutely comfortable with their workplace, boss and co-workers. Women think of themselves as equal workers to men and it is actually so. Very often women are the bosses because they did better and became much more successful than men.
Nowadays we can even see that there are a lot of women in IT sphere and they are doing a really great job and not worse than men. These women in IT sphere feel themselves even better because they know that they are very intelligent and they can do a really good job.
As you can see it is a very complicated topic and it actually belongs and depends to one place concretely. Of course in most of the countries, especially the developed ones women feel great about being women, they can work equally with men, do the same job and they have the chances of becoming the bosses of men if they work in proper way. On contrast with these there are some other countries where women still have to straggle with this in order to obtain the right to work and then make everyone adopt with that reality. Women and men both are equal humans and both of them should have the absolute equal rights to do what they want and how they want to. From this point of view women should have the full right of working in every country and simply the freedom of choice.
