Korean rice cake balls are what we are going to introduce you today. To make the Korean rice cake balls we need to have the following ingredients with us.
2 cups of sweet rice flour
1 cup of water
Salt
Sugar
Brown sugar
Read beans, 1 cup
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Powder mugwort
Soy bean powder, yellow one
2 cups of flour
At first you will have to make a red bean paste. So take a big bowl, add the red beans and 4 cups of water in order to boil the beans. Heat under high heat for about 10-15 minutes. Then lower the fire and cook for about 1 hour by permanently checking if they are cooked or not. Then remove them from fire, remove the water and add 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder and then 1 teaspoon of salt all into the bean paste and keep it that way.
For the next step you have to take 3 different bowls for cake balls. The first one is with black seeds of sesame. You have to rinse and drain them, and then cook on the pen so much until they are crispy. After they are cooked, cool them and then grind. Then add them into a bowl and mix with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Then in another bowl put toasted soybean powder and add 2 tablespoon of sugar and then mix it.
For the last bowl, add mugwort powder and add 2 tablespoon of sugar again and mix.
For the rice cake dough we need to place 2 cups sweet rice powder, 2 tablespoon of sugar, add water and mix by hand and set it aside.
After the dough is ready, you have to divide it into small balls and pour into the covers you made in the bawls. You have to choose for each ball to use one kind of cover and scroll them into the bawls. Once you take them out, the balls are ready.
As you can see, it is not a big dish, but it is kind of complicated to make. It will take about one hour to make it. The nutrition also is not so high, as it is a dessert. The good thing about this dessert is that will not harm your weight that much like other cakes.
