Latest news from Canada reveals not funny things are happening to Canada for sure. Recently the name of the country, Canada, has been in spotlight. The reason is that everything in Canada has been more or less fine and stabile for a long period of time, and then all of a sudden everything just goes wrong. So what are the recent news in Canada and what has changed, what is going to be the future like?

Breaking news, that everyone was concerned with, was the massive fire in Alberta and in Saskatchewan, Canada. The fire was labeled as Fort McMurray wildfire, or as some called it Horse River Fire. The fire destroyed more than 2300 homes, buildings and the payouts were estimated and assessed about 9 billion dollars, which is a huge sum for any state. The fire was really a devastating one which was the reason of huge economic overlap in Canada. Not only economic, but also social, because many people lost their homes and job places. And then, after this the situation seems to become a little bit better and everything seems to be calming down, again happens what happens. On June 28 there was an explosion at a home in Mississauga, because of which one person died and the rest injured.  Many houses right now are evacuated and some are in the restricted zone. Out of 25 homes, which suffered from devastating explosion, 6 got heavy damages and turned into ruins, while the rest are almost ruins. This was another shocking and breaking news, as hardly people of Canada have forgotten about the large scale fires when another devastating thing, the explosion broke out.

It seems to me that 2016 is not a good year for Canada. Not at all.

Another sad news for Canadians was spread all over the TV channels and it concerns a public figure in May 2016. The Canadian journalist and a very much honored man, Emmy award winner, and CBS Canada news worker, Morley Safer passed away at the age of 84. He was a journalist for a long period of time in CBS news magazine called 60 minutes, and everyone loved him. He was a really nobleman and a respected person.

No matter how hard things are for Canada right now, Canadians are cheerful people and I am more than convinced that they will overcome all the difficulties that they are currently facing. The whole world is currently in dangerous situation. June 28 at night there was an explosion in Istanbul Ataturk Airport also, however, before 2016 everything seemed much safer in Canada than it is now. Hopefully everything will be fine, let’s pray for Canada in 2016 hard year.
